My name is Garry Mclachlan and I’m the owner of New Age Fitness and the Farming Ninja. located in the Greater Toronto Area. As a Body Transformation Expert, I’ve worked with literally hundreds of people finally shed unhealthy weight and get themselves in the best shape they’ve ever been in.
Not everyone starts out being naturally active. In fact, I didn’t start working out seriously until I was in my 20's. As soon as I began working out, it took hold of me and I’ve been passionate about weight loss and fitness ever since.
I spent the next few years learning everything there was to know about fitness. I researched weight loss, how to be healthier and increase strength and energy. As I’d learn a technique, I’d try it myself. I worked out hard, but never seemed to fully get the results I wanted.
Fitness and Health Doesn’t Have to Be a Major Time Commitment
It took about a year of me being frustrated with my progress to realize that perhaps I needed to hire a personal trainer myself. Despite my hard work and dedication, I wasn’t getting the results I wanted on my own.
I signed up for training with a personal trainer at my local gym. You can imagine my surprise when the very first thing he did was cut back my exercise schedule. You see, I’d been training 6 and sometimes 7 days every single week for 2 ½ hours per workout. He only wanted me to work out 5 days a week and only for 30-45 minutes per session.
At first I thought he was crazy and I’d made a mistake in hiring him. Then he just smiled and started giving me a science lesson about how the body works and reacts to exercise.
I’ll admit I was shocked and a bit skeptical. I couldn’t understand how doing less could actually give me more results. But he told me to trust him and so I did. Before long I could see my body changing. It didn’t take long for me to finally get the results I’d been looking for all along.
I thought back to that year of working out 6 and 7 days a week and how I’d been so frustrated. I realized there were so many people like me who thought that that the only way to lose weight and be in shape was to workout the way I had.
A Fitness Program that Focuses on Your Health and Well Being
Most people give up on fitness because they don’t think they have the time to commit to it. If only they knew how they really could get in shape, shed unwanted body fat, and increase their energy level without having to put in an enormous amount of time in the gym. I was determined to show them a better way to health and fitness.
Studying about the body and the different types of fitness programs available really opened my eyes to how the body burns fat and stays healthy. After seeing the results I was getting, it didn’t take long for my friends to start asking me to help them train. Before I knew it, I had people I didn’t know coming to me asking for help. That’s when I decided I was going to make a change in my life and dedicate myself to fitness and helping others. I don’t consider my job as a Body Transformation Expert something I just do from 9-5. It gives me great satisfaction to see other people reach their weight loss and fitness goals and get into the best shape and health of their lives!
Over the years I’ve trained hundreds of people. Many are worried about the negative affect having extra weight on them will have on their health. Some have lost weight and gained it back so many times they’ve lost count. Some are just worried that they are unhealthy and are afraid they’ll die early if they don’t do something about their weight and fitness level.
