Uriah Hall Pro Fighter Montage (Tiger Schulmann's Fight Team) - The Ultimate Fighter Amazing KO

Picture
One of the most incredible KO's in the UFC's reality TV Series called the TUF or the The Ultimate Fighter...came from the hands of a talented Striker named Uriah Hall.

You can watch the fight below, and see how this unfolded...

I have long said that the MMA Striking is evolving, where some of the more traditional striking arts such as TaeKwondo, Karate, Capoeira and Kung Fu are starting to really make their way into the Octagon.

One of my favourite things to do is kicking, its also one of the toughest things to master...and what knocks people out.

In the last few seconds of this fight below you will see how fast a fight can end, from a highly skilled Martial Artist delivering a lightening fast kick....

If Jose Aldo Wins against Pettis he will Fight for the UFC Lightweight Title

Following the UFC 157 post-fight press conference, UFC president Dana White told a group of media that Jose Aldo was refusing to fight Anthony Pettis, citing Pettis not deserving the title shot.

Pettis is currently sidelined for a shot at the Light Weight Belt as current champ Benson Henderson is scheduled to fight Strikeforce champ Gilbert Melendez...to unify the belts.

Pettis elected to drop down a weight class and issue a challenge to Jose Aldo...read the story here

White announced on Tuesday that Aldo had relented, agreeing to face Pettis and that the fight would take place as planned on Aug. 3, and that if Aldo won, he would get a crack at the lightweight title.

On Tuesday night’s edition of UFC Tonight, the UFC president said that if Aldo goes to the 155-pound division that he’d have to stay there.  White added that if Pettis defeats Aldo, Pettis would have to say in the featherweight division and defend the title.

“It wasn’t difficult to get the fight. I called (Aldo’s manager) Andre (Pederneiras) yesterday and it took two minutes to get the fight done. He said that after Aldo beats Pettis, he wants to move up to 155 and fight there. I said that was fine, but one of the matchmakers called and said there was a misunderstanding, that he wants to go to 155, win the title, and go back to 145. That’s not happening,” said White.

UFC 158 Fight Predictions GSP vs. Diaz (Video)

The fight between GSP and Nick Diaz is long overdue, and we will finally have an undisputed world welterweight champion...

Lets just hope that Diaz fulfills his duties of being an ambassador to the UFC...as Dana White has come close to pulling Diaz from the card for not fulfilling his contractual duties.

Nick Diaz was the last welterweight champion of Strikeforce, and made his return to the Octagon earlier last year to fight Carlos Condit...which he lost by decision, and Carlos went on to fight GSP and lost.

This is an interesting fight stylistically as GSP has the wrestling advantage, and I think he's a much more dynamic striker than Diaz....Diaz is know to corner his opponents, and pepper them with solid boxing and if he can get the fight to the ground he has a world class BJJ game.

Both men are highly condition athletes, and both are Brazilian Juijitsu blackbelts...

You can check out the official press conference here in this post...

I can see GSP making an example out of Diaz and beat the snot out of him by pulling out a full MMA fight.

The other fight to pay close attention is Carlos Condit vs. Jonny Big Rig Hendricks....top contenters.   Jonny should have been the next to fight GSP....however he has a big test against Carlos.   Check out the story about Jonny here.

To see my predictions for the upcoming card with Silva vs. Stann....you can also check out this funny post about GSP and Diaz.

UFC on Fuel Wanderlei Silva vs Brian Stann Fight Predictions

2/25/2013

Comments

Picture
So on March 3, 2013 the next big UFC event is happening with Wanderlei Silva fighting Brian Stann...the Axe Murderer vs. the All American.

Both of these guys are top notch fighters in the world, and this is the first UFC event to be held in Japan.    If you watched the last UFC event with Rousey vs. Carmouche (first women's fight in UFC)...

you can tell MMA is going to grow around the world, and I suspect that MMA will be the biggest sport in the world in a few years....and could possible become an Olympic Sport?   Who knows, in my opinion the men and women that fight in these organizations are high level athletes who train hard (physically and mentally) to do what they do.   Check out this post for my GSP vs. Diaz predictions....will post tomorrow.

I shot this video below to give a run down of what I think is going to happen on this upcoming UFC event.
