The Farming Ninja Training at Fitness Nation..

I absolutely love the martial arts...and one of my favourite Sunday morning ritual is to train with my crew at the Fitness Nation in Mississauga Ontario.  

One of my best friends Marc Lebert is the head coach and a mentor of mine (we like to call him Sensi Hulk).   Marc is the inventor of Lebert Fitness products and Fitness Guru.

If you don't know my story or never met me...here is the simple version...I grew up on a farm wanting to be a NINJA....I mean who doesn't.   The Martial Arts has always been a passion of mine...and its something I am looking forward to giving back to my son and daughter.   

This video clip is from our morning session and after a nice slow burn warm up we did some free style TKD paddle work.

The point of this drill is to build your reflex's and establish good footwork.   You will notice that there are various kicking techniques used here like the roundhouse, tornado, spinning heel, axe kick, doubles, triples...etc.  

Taekwondo is one of the oldest martial arts in the world, and an Olympic Sport.   

Fitness always will be a part of my life...even at 40 years of age, Getting Fit for Life is a daily discipline to a healther life.   We all have bad habits, but just doing something that you love can help you look and feel better.

Here are the Farming Ninja Fitness Tips
  • Work out  2 - 3 times per week (Hire a Personal Trainer - if your in Toronto Give me a call)
  • Body Weight Training is where its at Stick to the Basics - Squats, Push ups, Pullups, Crunches, Burpees
  • Avoid alot of Sugar (Pop, Candy, Coffee) Drink more water - Get a Water Bottle and Drink Regularly 
  • Suppliment your health - Here is a great product line my family uses
